Maximilian Brand is studying business engineering at the KIT in his 4th year. His major fields of studies are composed of Production Techniques and Market Research. In his freetime Maximilian is representative of the Lacrosse sports society at the KIT and has captained the Karlsruhe team from 2008 to 2010. At the moment Maximilian is completing his MBA at Union College, NY with main focus on Corporate Finance.
Florian Fischer is in his 5th year at the KIT studying business management and engineering. His majors are Renewable Energies and Corporate Finance. He completed an apprenticeship at Siemens before studying and has worked in a foreign aid project in Argentina. Florian enjoys travelling destinations “off the beaten track” and is very interested in Latin-American / Hispanic culture. In his spare time he likes to read, do sports and generally have a good time with friends.
Arndt Heinrich is studying business at the KIT in his 5th year. He has put his major focus in his studiesupon Automotive, Logistics and Corporate Finance. Arndt has joined Business Masters in 2008. During his engagement in Business Masters he has been the Head of Organisation for one year. Besides his studies Arndt likes to do sports and shows interest in foreign cultures. Arndt hasspent more than 1.5 years in China where he has worked as an intern and attended university.
Ella Hohenäcker has joined Business Masters in 2010 and is currently one of two Heads of the Organisation. She is studying business engineering at the KIT in her 2nd year with a focus on Marketing and Logistics. Hence, her last internship was in fashion. In her leisure time she loves to work out and paint.
Matthias Kohl just finished the coursework in business engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Before he starts his theses to finish his studies he takes one year off to make a Master degree in Sydney. In his studies, Matthias is mainly focused on production engineering and corporate management. In his free-time Matthias likes to do martial arts, he enjoys cooking and the recreation from fishing.
Christoph Lau is studying business engineering at the KIT in his 5th year. He has put his major focus in his studies on Automotive, Strategic Management and Corporate Finance. After a 6 month internship in Munich, Christoph has joined Business Masters in summer 2010. Off university he enjoys sports and meeting up with friends.
Christian Mänder is studying mechanical engineering at the KIT.
His major fields of studies are production planning, quality management and production management. Christian is new with Business Masters, having joined in 2010.
Travelling and doing sports are some of Christian´s hobbies.
Fabian Metzeler is studying business engineering at the KIT since 2006. His major fields of studies consist of Operation Research, Entrepreneurship and Macroeconomics. He has joined Business Masters in 2009. Fabian enjoys motor-biking, music and traveling. In the last four years he managed to work in five different countries.
Christine Typolt has a master degree in architecture and is doing a postgraduate study for business engineering at KIT. Her major fields are strategic management, corporate finance, innovation economics and logistics. Christine loves traveling, sports and singing. During her studies she spent 6 months in Asia for an internship (Thailand). At present, she is project assistant at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship – CIE.
Manuel Gutberlet is a business engineering student at the KIT in his 4th year. His academic studies are consisting out of Coporate Finance, Renewable Energies and Macroeconomics. This year he became the Head of Organisation of Business Masters for the upcoming period 2011/2012. In addition to his life at the KIT Manuel enjoys soccer, reading and is also interested in foreign cultures. He did an internship in China during his studies and was trainer for soccer at the KIT.
Ralf Gilde is studying business engineering at the KIT in his 2nd year. In his studies he is focusing on international finance, theory of games and strategic management. Besides his studies, Ralf is an active member of a competitive handball club and likes to travel all over the world. At the moment he is working for a small IT business and is responsible for sales and marketing.
Christoph Neunkirchen studies business engineering in his 5th year at KIT focusing on strategically decisions and supply chain management. He gained practical experience in internships in Logistics and CRM-Consulting and working at KIT as tutor, soccer trainer and research assistant.
In 2010, Christoph studied abroad at University of California San Diego and UC Berkeley and enjoyed the Californian way of living.
Besides his studies Chris likes to play soccer, work out and travel around.
Maik Prestel is in his last year at the KIT studying business administration and engineering. This year he became the Head of Finance of Business Masters. In his main studies, Maik focuses on Financial Engineering and Banking and at the present he is in Frankfurt for an internship in this sector. Besides studying he enjoys travelling, electronic music and playing tennis.
Bettina Widmann is studying business engineering in her 3rd year at KIT. The focus of her studies is mainly finance, banks, stock markets and strategic management. Bettina has already completed an internship in a consultancy firm and is now working as a project assistance in the energy industry. Though she is one of the newest members of BM, she became member of the board being responsible for recruiting, networking and communications. Her additional interests include soccer and movies.
Patrick Odermatt studies Business Engineering at KIT in his 5th year. During his studies he has set major focus on the fields of Corporate Finance, Business Management and Supply Chain Management. In 2010 Patrick broadened his academic development by a semester abroad at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology before he eventually joined the Business Masters team. Besides his studies Patrick has gathered practical experience in the industries of Telecommunications, Automotive and Management Consulting so far.
During his leisure time Patrick enjoys spending time with friends, doing endurance sports and recently also tracking financial market developments.
Gero Tschierschke became a member of business masters in 2008. During his involvement he has been Head of Organization and Marketing of the event. His academic background is based on his studies of business engineering at the KIT with major focus on Strategic Management, Corporate Finance and the field of Logistics. Included in his studies Gero gained intercultural experience with stays in England and Denmark.
Besides all that Gero loves to spend his spare time with friends, doing sport or travel around.
